The Royal Hotel Carcoar is now an award-winning hotel singled out by the Sydney Morning Herald's 'Good Pub Food Guide' as one of the top 17 hotels in the state for good pub food, and one of only three hotels awarded the prestigious 'Two Schooners' in the country category. The hotel won a 'Two Schooner Award' with a score of 17.5 out of 20 - narrowly missing out on the coveted three schooners award by half a point.
